Planets Night at Perkins
An opportunity to explore Perkins Observatory and see planets through the telescope observable that evening.
Perkins is one of only two observatories in the US housed at a small liberal arts institution.
Open to the general public, admission will be charged by Perkins

Star Wars/ Holst Planets Concert:  Saturday & Sunday Concerts
Holst's popular composition, The Planets, will be accompanied by a spectacular video produced by Chicago's Adler Planetarium. Visit the planets through historic images, the latest pictures from the Voyager spacecraft and NASA animations. The concert will end with John Williams' Star Wars Suite!
 
In attendance for both concerts will be members of the Ohio 501st Legion of Star Wars re-enactors. Don't forget your camera, as pictures with the re-enactors before and after the concerts are encouraged! See lobby displays by NASA. Dr. Jose Francisco Salgado, the astronomer/artist who created the video, will attend and host a public session.
